Is the 1992 movie "Batman Returns" any good? How well did it fare with fans of the series?
1. Yes, really good.

2. I'm kind of lazy to write all of it, But there is this deformed Guy called Oswald Cobblepolt (Called Penguin because of his deformity), He and a Billionaire named Max Shreck are plotting for The Penguin to become mayor of Gotham City, So that way Oswald would have the power to do anything that he wants and Max would have free will to dump Toxic Waste and keep going with his shady business, Max ''Kills'' His Secretary, Selina Kyle, But she is seemingly revived by Cats. She goes on to Become Catwoman, who is plotting a Murderous Revenge against Shrek And of course Batman who gets in everybody way to ensure the safety of Gotham City, while Bruce Wayne is developing Feelings for Selina Kyle and Vice Versa, Both not knowing each others Secret Identities. I don't want to spoil anything else.

3. From Wikipedia: Batman Returns was nominated for two Academy Awards, although it won neither. It lost "Best Visual Effects" to Death Becomes Her and "Best Makeup" to Bram Stoker's Dracula. Pfeiffer was nominated for "Most Desirable Female" at the MTV Movie Awards, but lost to Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct. Both Keaton and Pfeiffer were nominated for "Best Kiss" but lost out to Marisa Tomei and Christian Slater in Untamed Heart. Danny DeVito would be nominated for "Best Villain" though he ended up losing to Jennifer Jason Leigh in Single White Female. DeVito was once again nominated for "Worst Supporting Actor" in the Razzie Awards before losing to Tom Selleck in Christopher Columbus: The Discovery.

4. Yes. Everyone remembers Their interpretation of the characters dearly and Help them expand into wider roles, specially Michael Keaton who was mostly known for comedy until that point.

5. Yes it does.

6.There is Michelle Pfeiffer in a skin tight leather suit waving a whip, and the obvious Sex reference's that this comes with, other than that no Big sex scenes at all. There is Violence though, Not Blood and Gore but definitely No ''Pows'' hiding the punches.

7. Sex reference and Violence.

8. Because of the Man who ruin the franchise: Joel Shumacher. After a meeting with Joel over the Campy direction he was taking, Keaton decided to step down and let him ruin it with out his name being in the Film. His Concerns were justified since being in both of the Shumacher Films gave blows to everyone who worked in those films.

8. Mostly good, It is the forth Highest grossing film in all time, and it received an 81% aapproval in Rotten tomatoes.

9. I don't know how they liked it. However I do know that the TV Show was a parody and that no Comic book Batman fan Liked it very much. This Movie is Far darker and more serious than the TV show, However that doesn't mean they wont like it, But they better no be waiting for POWs and BOOMs.
Reply:It's a dark movie very arty. If you like Tim Burton movie's and you will like this one. There is no nudity or swearing as i remember.I think there is a make out part with the women that plays catwomen but it was fast wasn't that bad nothing more you wouldn't see on normal tv.There is lots of fighting violence.I would give the movie a A-. I own it.
Reply:I can't answer all of those questions but personally I loved Michael Keaton as Batman. I own all the movies from Batman to Batman Begins, and the first two with Keaton are definitely my favorites.

Reply:It was not as good as 1988 Batman, but far better than Batman Forever or Batman %26amp; Robin. I think Michael Keaton was afraid of ending up typecast like what happened to Christopher Reve. Batman forever had a smaller role for Batman as it foccused on Jim Carrey's Riddle and Robin more than Batman himself. Keaton decided to forgo a huge paycheck to prevent damage to his future carrer, something many actors fail to do. Jim Carrey's performance saved Batman Forever from box office faliure. Nothing could save Batman %26amp; Robin...what a waste, I felt ripped off leaveing the theator
