There was this movie i had seen on MPTV at around midnight. It was about a boy and his sister?

The movie was about this young blonde hair boy and his sister who were living through world war 2. The little boy had a british accent, and his older sister was in love with a british soilder who was fighting in the war. At the end of the movie, her and her lover had married after she was pregnant, and moved to the country with the rest of her family. I saw the movie a long time ago, and i really want to see it again soon. The movie was a pretty good movie, at the end of the movie, i was too tired to write down the title but i do remember seeing the boys face smiling on the cover, and the title sounded like "____ and the war" or something familiar. It is a british movie. Help me please!!! i looked for sooo long!! thank you
