Is the movie "next " starring Nicholas Cage a big screen movie or wait for to come out on DVD type movie?

What is this moive about? Is it a action movie or a science fiction movie? Is it worth paying $6.50 to see or should I wait for it come out on DVD? The last time I saw cage was in the pathetic laughable "The Wicker Man" remake last summer. Does he do any better with this movie ? Also what up with this hair? Will the movie get any nominations for Razzies when they announce them?

Looks like it'd be cool to see in theatres, but I don't think it'd be worth your money. Just wait until it comes out on DVD. That's just my opinion. If I'm unsure whether or not to shell out cash in a theatre, than I just wait and get it from the library on DVD.
Reply:To answer your first question, Next is about a man who can see two minutes into the future and the government needs his help. To answer your second question, yes it is worth seeing in theaters of it is still in theaters. I loved the movie and am going to buy it on DVD. Yes, I saw The Wicker Man too... no comment. Both Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore are great in Next. I like his hair in the movie but it seems some people think elsewise. I got to meet Mr. Cage while he was filming National Treasure 2... he is a VERY sweet person. He hugged me. I can't answer if it will get any nominations at the Razzies.... my guess would be no but yet I tend to like a FEW of the movies that have recieved Razzie nominations. Hope this helps!
Reply:well to tell you the truth i think you should wait till the DVD. i mean the trailers look alright but that's my opinion and like you said whats up with his hair anyways like i said that is my opinion
Reply:Wait for DVD...

It was not bad...just not worth $6:50...or the $11:00 they charge here in NYC

Las Vegas showroom magician Cris Johnson has a secret which torments him: he can see a few minutes into the future. Sick of the examinations he underwent as a child and the interest of the government and medical establishment in his power, he lies low under an assumed name in Vegas, performing cheap tricks and living off small-time gambling "winnings." But when a terrorist group threatens to detonate a nuclear device in Los Angeles, government agent Callie Ferris must use all her wiles to capture Cris and convince him to help her stop the cataclysm.
Reply:dunno i generally on principle don't waste money to see nicholas cage movies
Reply:I would wait for it to come out on DVD, as its an OK flick, but, it wasn't worth the expense to go to the theater. I personally think that Cage is an average actor, more suited to do action movies that don't require a lot of talent. He shouldn't have one the Oscar for leaving Las Vagas, but, he did as the role fit his real life, as he knew how to act drunk. I doubt that Razzies will get any nominations, but who knows about Hollywood.
Reply:yes you should see on the big screen. dont be so cheep. but the ending will absolutely make you feel used.
Reply:i personally think this film is a good one and nicholas cage is good in it to!!! it is about a man (nicholas cage) who can see 2 minutes into the future, and then the fbi try to get hold of him for help but keep missing him (cos he can see them coming) but without giving to much away something he sees happening changes his mind and he helps them with a slight twist at the end. wicker man was a very poor film for nicholas cage and his last film ghost rider was a little better (my son enjoyed it!) but i would say this is another one of his good films, i would pay to watch it and i am def gonna buy it when it comes out, but everyone has their own prefrences, hope this helps u
