Which movie? 10,000 BC or Doctor Suess?

So my boyfriend and I would like to see a movie and don't quite have enough room in the budget this week to see two movies this week. He really wants to see 10,000 BC (and frankly, always gets to choose the movie lol)... but after some research, I saw that it received horrible ratings... and a lot of friends at work said that it was awful. Besides that, I don't know if it is a movie that I could really get into. But if that is what we decide to do, I will go and at least enjoy just being with him.





OR... we could wait until the release of Dr. Suess, which is the movie that I would really really like to see. I'm looking forward to it, and he agrees, he would like to see it also.





Has anyone seen 10000BC and liked it? What is a brief summary of the film? Might I like it after all? Or should we both wait until the release of the Suess film????

10000 BC sucked. More than Freddie Mercury. It was lame. Incredibly so. Its a bout a pansy guy with a wierd name who goes off in search of booty because of a lame prophecy. And somehow befriends a lion for a scene.


I suggest seeing Horton Hears A Who (the dr.suess movie), I mean Ice Age wasn't terrrible (both are made by Blue Sky Studios) and Jim Carrey and Steve Carrell are great.
Reply:10,000 BC is mostly entertainment and less historical accuracy and people complain about story and character but I thought it was good enough! Most who complain about the ending, probably guys due to the sort of love scene ending and you know guys aren't into movies with love scenes they love action, blood and cool fighting scenes! Doctor Suess movie would be better spent if you wanted to take a young sibling too young to see PG-13 movies with you. Some of todays bad Hollywood films in my opinion, many guys praise it as the best thing ever! But then again they weren't raised with sisters!
