Does anyone agree with me that the movie was totally off? I mean, Brom was such a good character in the book, and its like they introduced him, and cut him off! The timing of introducing certain characters was completely wrong, Arya was supposed to have black hair, and in the book she was brave, exotic, and mysterious. In the movie, she was a wimp!
She was supposed to be very old and wise, and in the movie she flirts with Eragon like a teenage girl in love! The timing of the whole movie was off, and get this, the "Shadow Dragon" that the Shade rode, NEVER EXISTED IN THE BOOK! They did a good job of Lord of the Rings, and with Eragon, they messed it up so bad, that when they try to make an Eldest movie, by the end of the trilogy, its going to be so messed up, that you won't even know it's Eragon.
Eragon the Movie?
I agree. I read the first book and loved it. It was a great story, and had the potential to be right up there with Lord of the Rings.
However, when I saw the film in theatres, I was shocked and extremily dissapionted. The only character that played his role even half like it was portrayed in the book was Durza.
Over all, I think they chose actors that didn't fit the roles and tried to cram at least a 3 hour movie into 104 minutes.
Reply:I agree.... sure ed speelers is hot but not derserving of the role eragon. And isnt arya posioned in the book??? And the cave??? I dont get how people could follow the movie... Report It
