I have been making movies for years and I havent had time to sit down and think of a good idea for a short film. Please give me some ideas for short films...restrictions are..


* Not more then 2-3 main characters


* No female lead characters (none of the girls I know have time to do this


I will put the winners name in the movie I make and send you a dvd with the movie on it.

In the year 2009, King Crimson, leader of the Moonchildren, develops a weapon so horrifying that all of mankind stands on the brink of destruction...a weapon that will destroy every Starbucks in the world.





However, a man known only as The Piano Tuner discovers Crimson's plot and will stop it nothing to foil it. "Where will all the hipsters go?" he asks himself. "Starbucks must be saved!" exclaims The Piano Tuner just before setting off with his magical refrigerator named Mr. Freeze to warn drinkers of overpriced, burnt coffee around the world of Crimson's sinister plot.





You go from there. I'm sure I've given you more than enough to get started on an Oscar winning film.

here goes the idea





A young man goes to anthor state when he gets there he learns how easy it is to make money stealing stuff but in the end he gets caught gets sent to a maxium security prison in there he learns how other people got caught doing stuff 3 years later when he gets out he becomes a professional burglar he lives in a small town and people think he is a upstanding citezen of his commuinty durning the day but at night he travels over a 100 miles to a big city and plies his trade there and withen 6 months he has stolen over 4 millon worth of high end art and to this day he still has not been caught and he is so good at stealing when the police invetigate the crime scenes they believe it is a inside job and go after employees of the art studios but to no result have they been able to pin the rap on some one (half of this is true it was not art but electronics and I dont steal anymore)

Reply:I don't know if I could help or if it sounds to after school special but try some type of teen awareness movie teaching them about sex pros and cons. I read these answers and they seem so unaware of the aids issues. Since you only have male actors make them gay. needing info on aids before they move their relationship to the next

Reply:Do a movie about a male escort, who decides after years that he wants to settle down, but one of his clients isn't happy with his decision. He/She can stalk him, start working at his new company under a different name, you fill in the rest It would be really good if the stalker was a man, but it wasn't revealed until toward the end of the movie

Reply:Steven King wrote a story about a little girl that gets lost in the woods for days- "The Girl who loved Tom Gordon". It was really good. You could do a variation on it.
