Problem with codec/ Windows movie maker / Videos?

Recently I had a virus because I have installed some wrong codec and it was infected. Now, I can't view any avi movie, and I can't import any avi movie in my movie maker.





The error message when I try to watch an avi movie says "the source filter for this file could not be loaded"





The error message when I try to import a movie to the windows movie maker says " avi could not be imported, class not registered"








I have read before the default system files that should be located in my "movie maker folder" in C/Programes file ..





%26amp; all my files that located in there are different.





WMM2Ae.dll


WMM2ERES.dell


WMM2EXT.dell


and more with weird names..

I would try reinstalling movie maker
