MOVIE goer???

..How often do you go to the movies? ..I hadnt gone in long time...and wont again.....10 dollars a ticket..............plus... 3 SMALL popcorns, 2 SMALL lemonades, was 30 dollars!!!! That is a crime!! How do people with 3 kids, plus friends go to a movie? ................And what is with all the commercials at the begining.......a "7:15"movie, didnt start until 740!!!!.....


...there, i feel better, that is my gripe for the day!....Hope you all have a good weekend!....I'll be staying home watching a movie!

It's only worth it if you plan it out.





I go nearly once every two weeks. I go to matinee which usually costs like 6 dollars. I also never buy snacks from their concession stands. I sneak in my own snacks; it's really easy when you're carrying a backpack.





Another good way of getting a discount is to befriend of the employees because they usually let people in for free. But you didn't hear that from me =P





BTW, if you're from the Boston area, you should check out the Museum of Science and Aquarium. Now that is expensive!! But I have my ways of getting in as well =P

Reply:I rarely go - usually for matinees or if I have discount tickets. I always sneak in food. Netflix is the best thing to happen for me - so much cheaper and more comfortable than a movie theatre.
