Movie Question?

What is the name of the movie where kids turn into animals?


the movie starts out with a group of kids throwing mud or dung at one another then they run chasing a boy and a girl up to a gate and the girl says the gate has a curs on it and her mom put it there (the girl is an orphan)


the movie also has a talking ferret


thats all i remember from the first five minutes of the movie

Yupp I agree with kat, I think the movie you are talking about is The Golden Compass, but the kids do not turn into animals. They have animals beside them
