Is the movie "Scary Movie "(2000)is it any good? Who stars in it? What was the plot of this movie? Was it a good movie or bad movie? Who all stars in this movie ? Did it win any awards or anything? How well did it do with movie critics and moviegoers?Is it worth buying on DVD ?Is it worth buying for $7.50? Is there any nudity,swearing or violence in it? Personally, I thought Scary Movie was a funny movie. But also I am a big fan of parodies. Scary Movie is a parody that makes fun of scenes from big hit scary movies like Scream, Halloween, and I Know What You Did Last Summer. It stars the Wayans brothers, Anna Faris, Carmen Electra, and Regina Hall to name a few.





The 1st Scary Movie is the only one to have R rating because it does have nudity (male %26amp; female), swearing, and sexual humor. Most of the jokes in this movie are very crude and are about sex and drugs. If you like the type of humor, then this is a really funny movie and you should get it, but if you don't, definitely do NOT get this movie.





How critics thought about the movie: Rotten Tomatoes gave Scary Movie a 53% saying that it "overloads on crudity and grossness to get its laughs" and the users on the website overall, gave it a 65%.





If you want the same type of movie without the nudity and bad humor, get Scary Movie 3. This movie had a PG-13 rating as it does not show any nudity and is not as sexual with its humor. Plus, this movie was just as funny as Scary Movie 1, in my opinion. But trust me, if you are looking for a good parody, do NOT go for the ones that tried to follow after scary movie (for example, Date Movie %26amp; Epic Movie). Those movies did a terrible job of trying to be the next big hit like the Scary Movie series was.





So is it worth buying for $7.50? It depends whether or not you enjoy parodies and whether or not you think crude humor is funny. If you enjoy a movie that points laughter at other movies and are fine with a lot of sexual based humor, then definitely get it! If not, then don't.
