Importing a movie into my itunes library?
In order to import a movie into iTunes it has to be in the quicktime format. I assume that the movie you wish to import is still in the MPEG 2 format. You just can't take a movie off of a commercial DVD and drag it into itumes since that is illegal.

However, if you have personal information that you wish to put up on iTunes then you have to import the movie into iMovieHD and then share it as a Quicktime file.
Reply:I asked a similar question about an hour ago. I have seen two different packages recommended: Cucusoft iPod Video Converter and DVD to iPod Converter Suite or the Wondershare Packages (iPhone Video Converter and either DVD to iPhone Converter or the DVD Ripper Platinum).

I just posted it, so, no answer yet. But it looks like you will need a program like this. I converted a bunch of video clips last night to the iPod format, using iTunes, and they all came up on my iPod, but with no sound.
