IRON-MAN movie will suck?

i dont know what all those people are so exited with this movie based only on oficcial preview we can se on u tube.i saw the short clip of a movie, and i gotta tell ya, i hope its not gonna SUCK *** like i got the feeling.dont get me wrong, i love marvel movies, x-men, spider-man,but this looked awfull.dude looks like a piece of trash can.not really realistic flying, aldo ,i dont know how he flyes with that trash.i didnt like that funny part of that guy, main character, we can clearly see on movie clip that the way the guy acts and has that stupid somekind of sence of humor--....that makes the whole movie look cheasy, filled with stupi humor,and movie shouldnt be like that.it just doesant fit in whole scenario that suposed to be serious.i dont know, it just didnt fit to the way i imagined it.ill wait 4 movie, and hope it wont be as bad,as i think. what do u think

The advance reviews have been very promising. The movie has a talented cast, and the script reportedly is strong enough to stand without the superhero elements.





I'm not knocked out by the way the Iron man armor looks onscreen, but I wasn't excited by the way the Hulk looked in that movie, and they are working on a Hulk sequel.

Reply:OMG my boyfriend, his friend and i went to see it saturday and it was soooooooooooooo boring that we left like 40 mins in and asked for our money back. i have never done that ever but that movie sucked so bad

Reply:I have a friend who managed to see it already (he's got some nice connections), and he says it's a lot better than it looks. I don't think that's enough to make me want to see it, but I'm glad it's not going to be a complete waste of time for everyone.
Reply:Iron Man was easily one of the greatest comic book movies ever and the suit looks amazing. the script, the acting, the music, the special effects, and everything else made it an amazing movie
Reply:Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) is an alcoholic. That may account for some of the slapstick. Most people who drink probably have a bit more "slapstick" in their life then they would like to admit. Also, the suit the you see Iron Man wearing when he is fully decked out isn't even his 1st suit, thy have to go thru trial and error to make the suit perfect...so there are bound to be blooper type scenes to show that. Also I think when you watch most of these Marvel live actions you will see some humor in them to keep all genres of movie goers interested. I don't however think it will dominate or ruin the movie. I am ANXIOUS and ANTSY to see it. I hope that it pleases in the way Spidey did (without the singing bar scene of Spidey 3). I also hope that they DON'T try to sum up all of Iron Man's adventures in one movie.


So, here's hoping it doesn't end up a piece of trash.
Reply:Well yeah hopefully it's not disappointing, but really even though I enjoyed watching all the other Superhero movies, however I'm really tired of all the superheros having all this drama in them. I mean ok yes, it's theres a lesson to be learn and all, but damn l mean why is there so many marvel movies that 90% of the whole movie is drama. For instance "The Hulk" that movie had very little action and mostly drama. "Daredevil" now that was a bad movie, don't have to say anything there. And yes I like "Spider-man Movies" but come on, it's always about the hero always trying to get the girl he loves. The first to spider-man movies where good, but the third one disappointed me, I thought there would be more action involved, but I was wrong. Hopefully this film has a little of all that genre but also more action than the rest of them. I mean come on it's a super hero movie, it's suppose to have a lot of action.
Reply:I thought the Iron-Man character looked absolutely amazing. Some comic book movies do a great job of bringing the character to the screen in look and feel and I definately got that sense from the Iron-Man trailer. If you want to talk about poor looks of a comic character how about the new Hulk? Ed Norton is one of my favorite actors of all time and I am sure the portions of the movie featuring him are going to be great. The CGI Hulk just looked off to me.





I never read the Iron man comics, or really any comics, but I seem to remember from past television shows and suchy that Iron Man as a character has that comic quirkiness to him. I think Robert Downey Jr. is going to do a great job in this movie.
