What's a truely good movie?

my family can NEVER chose a good movie...


my dad will only watch a movie that you "get something from"


(the pursuit of happiness)


my mom likes sweet family movies and action movies


(double jeprody, little miss sunshine)


my brother likes movies about weird boy stuff (like aerogon... wtf?) he also likes funny movies


(are we done yet...)


and i like horror movies and thrilling movies


(bond, the reaping, mission impossible)





can you think of ANYTHING we would all like? or if not just list some good family movies...thanks!

What's a truely good movie?
I Googled around and I haven't yet seen any American movies with all (comedy,drama, family-values, horror) ingredients included but i can definitely say that you can find such specifics in some very good Filipino movies such as Dolphy movies, the Tito, Vic%26amp;Joey movies, Redford White movies, Chiquito movies to name a few..


But here are some alternatives:


1. Adam Sandler movies are really good (although I don't understand why he swears in most, if not, all of his movies )


2. Rob Schneider movies are also good


3. or go for Disney movies or if you want something gory find some Stephen King movies..


4. the Roberto Benini movie "Dolce Vita" is a good family movie but your brother might not enjoy the movie because there isn't much weird stuff and there's no horror in it..but I'm sure your mom and dad will like it..
