Help on choosing a movie to write a review on! Teacher gave us the freedom of choosing any movie we like!?

I would like to write about a movie that have some sort of moral in it, something thats worth watching, least amount of kissing or adult content, great plot, good actors, not childish (i'm a 10th grader), preferbly with special effects but not necessary, great characters and somewhat unique (although thats difficult to find now a days). The genre of the movie isn't that important though I would prefer if it wasn't a horror movie; perhaps a dramatic one?

Well here's a list of movies I've seen and think may be a good candidate for the review. (some from a very long time ago. I think they were good but not very sure):

Man on fire, Pride and Prejudice,Take the lead, A walk to remember, the man in the iron mask, Jane Eyre, Evelyn, Braveheart', Little women...I really can't think of anything else right now.

Movies I like but not sure:

Pirates of the Carribean, Harrypotter, Spirited Away.

Think any of the above good enough? Got a movie you'd like to suggest? Please don't hesitate to help

How about "The Chronicles of Narnia"

That movie has some of the stuff you are looking for in it.
Reply:Munich
Reply:Here's movies I've seen: Pride and Prejudice I recently watched and loved. there's no nasty anything, and its a really good romance film.

A Walk to Remember is another one of my all time faves! This one is very dramatic (well at least to me it is). the end made me cry a little but it was also really good, but with a little more adult sorta content then Pride and Prejudice.

Pirates of the Carribean! O M G! what more can I say?? its an awesome film, but its more for entertainment I think, and doesn't really have a moral. So if I had to choose, It'd be between Pride and Prejudice and A Walk to Remember...but if your short on time, watch A Walk to Remember, since its not as long as Pride and Prejudice which is over 2 hours. Good luck!
Reply:As a movie person myself I've seen tons of them woth reviewing. I'd recomend looking at some the more classic movies. If you want a movie with some sort of moral in it look no further than "All The Presidents Men". The movie talked about Watergate and whom might have been 'deep throat' back in the day when it was real headline news.
Reply:"To Kill A Mockingbird" would be a good one I would say. It has a great, unique plot, very good actors (Gregory Peck in perhaps his greatest role). It involves racism in the deep south, the movie is from a child's perspective.
Reply:try Scent of woman,Patch adams, Run Lola Run, To Sir With Love, lots more.. if doing for kids, can go with animation movies, for eg, Monsters Inc,Treasure Planet, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles
Reply:How about critiquing a movie that you hated or felt was poorly done...seems that it might be more fun to rip it apart.
Reply:You can write reviews on Oscar winning or nominated movies. I would suggest you to write a review on the movie " A Beautiful Mind"

because that movie is not childish, has least kissing and adult scenes and has a good moral story. This movie inspired me in many ways and it can be inspire others also. Though the oscar movies are serious but they have strong topic and have great effect on the audiences. You can learn good things about studies from this movie. I think this movie will be worth watching and i'm sure the teacher and students will like it very much. Good Luck!
Reply:American Beauty. I had to write a paper on that for Freshman English and I found it incredibly easy. There was so much going on to write about.
Reply:Spirited Away....she goes from being a spoiled child with no responsibility or feelings for others to saving her parents, doing work and having responsibility, and finding out what love really is. Excellent movie!
Reply:I didn't read your entire question, but I would suggest Crash.
Reply:What Dreams May Come would be a fantastic choice from what you've said. It can be alittle confusing at times, but it is a beautiful movie with a moral background.
Reply:Schindler's List

If you haven't seen it, you should.
Reply:Pick one from your first list. You do a better job reviewing a movie that you found interesting than any I could suggest for you.
Reply:Dead Poets Society
Reply:Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs (dir: Quinten Tarantino) will be a good watch and you will have loads to write about.
Reply:How abou X Men series or ya CRASH will also do it has good moral support and it is a good edited but perfect story

Yessss

How abou Lord of the Ring series this one is the best
Reply:Gone With the Wind. It has a good moral, you usually read the book in High school, it's a classic as well as a drama and romance. I loved Jane Eyre too. Good luck.
